funny, a lot of these players were playing FW only for the winning teams, now there no longer the 'winning team's' players switched, PC being broken never made the flood to FW but it did help, The factional events, and apex trading was the main factor. It's the players who saw who was losing and backed the under dogs and the players who encouraged them to do so that i think deserve a lot of credit for the State being where it is now.
but it's not over yet and won't be for a long time,
There will be no peace, there will be no solace for those who bear witness to these signs and still do not believe

Most of the good corps play for Amarr/Caldari. I'd estimate 90% of NF, 75% of 0.H and 70% of FA play for them.
We can see that the Caldari now hold more land than the Gallente overall, and the Amarr have become the dominant faction in The Bleak Lands.
I'd like to see a change in public perception. Queuing Min/Gal is no longer easy mode. When I was playing am/min I was finding it to be at least somewhat competitive. Caldari is a snooze-fest now though. Played against some of the cal syncs on alts and it's entirely possible to beat us, you just need to have a gameplan and people willing to execute it. Songs of Seraphim wrote: Nope. Old Z Platoon, Kirjuun, and STF. Took a while though.
And I was crazy enough to queue solo for Caldari back in the day and carry scrubs to victory. Now, I just make things go by quicker... Shitload of WPs since nobody else knows what the **** an Uplink is. -.-
Z platoon was around when the gallente fw was still going strong, but Z 13 took off shortly after Middas and I made our push towards revitalizing Kirjuun Heiian, which we made largely because we both disagreed with secretive 'hidden' passworded channels, and the tactics that were being employed there. I honestly don't much care for Z 13 on a personal level, especially after he 'returns' after what? 8 months or so and acts like it was him doing all the hard work that swung things... in a channel that isn't his... There's been a hell of a lot of people who've contributed, but I cant honestly say that Z 13 is on that list.
bit rich that, so you and Middas have single handedly rebooted the cal side with kuruun? i doubt that very much as everyone knows it was down to the State Task Force channel set up by starlight burner as afk as a merc he is it was still his channel and all the hard work nelo, and a hell of a lot of other mercs put into it, Kirjuun as a channel when the state was rising was used only as a secondary channel, Kirjuun as a corp hasnt got anywhere enough members to take on the whole federation.

Except I noticed that the Gallente side was full of a number of Kain Spero and his gang. This'll be a good one to be part of I thought. Hacked a point, ran into the city, was mowed down by officer mass driver fire. Respawned and found Kain and Co nowhere to be seen. Ended up coming third in the match with about 250/300 WP.
I'm assuming their QSync/Squad builder failed and that's why myself and a few other randoms were in there with them, and so they quit out to try again. I get that that happens and people want to play with friends/win but at the same time it spoiled a match that some other randoms were possibly looking forwards to.
It's a shame that FW is at the point where it is either QSync or nothing though. No one 'important' can be bothered to play a losing FW match but at the same time no one can be bothered to try and win one either. It's either get the easy win for the 1000 odd LP or not bother for the 250 odd. It's a shame.
Not blaming anyone or having a go. I'm no different. There's only so many times you can sit down and see the same names on the team opposite you having been stomped by them the previous 3/4/5 matches before you think screw it I'm going to AFK/ do something else.
I've said it before that I don't mind throwing myself under a bus for a good game but I'm not going to do it to pad someones K/D and fluff their epeen.
Conversely I also feel bad for the good players who are trying on my team when so many others (as I've said myself included) have given up. I try not to but sometimes I really am worse than useless and at that point I don't think it's 'fun' for anyone.
Again not having a go, it's as much on me as it is on the opposition (I should run better gear etc etc etc) but the frustration, hopefully for those winning too is real.
i get what you're saying but in all honesty teamwork works, the WarRavens use teamwork 24/7 as do a lot of FW players now so a four man squad is more effective than 4 individual players such is life. i have always said, 'a wolf is as strong as his pack and his pack is as strong as the wolf, lone wolves die young' this game has a small social network i guess, it teaches us to be social, to get out there and find like minded mercs and forge corps and alliances. it's a major part of what dust and new eden is, join a good channel, find some good squads, see who you work well with, dont throw all your eggs in one basket and eventually you'll be in a squad of hardcore boppers using the OP teamwork.
as for those who give up mid game i have no time for them, if they break in a FW then how are they going to be when doing PC? 16 players that will never ever quit or stop fighting have more about them than 16 thinking they have an easy victory until it's soon snatched away.

Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining or saying it's stupid and unfair I totally get that and more power to you guys. I wouldn't want to take any of that away. It's more to do with the small player base than individuals choosing to play the game in the way it was intended. The onus is as much on individuals to 'git gud' etc etc as it is on the Dev's to think about how the game is played. My 'complaint' wasn't directed at individuals or corps or anything like that it was just a case of it's tough on a lot of players that FW is so all or nothing. You either QSync or you Loose. There is currently, in Gal/Cal anyway no middle ground. It's just how it is and I think with more than a few thousand players it wouldn't be an issue because there'd be more blocks of randoms in each que. QSyncs dropping out of fighting each other is a different issue and something that is a bit endemic to all of Dusts public modes, but again it is what it is you either accept it or find something else to do with your evenings. Anyway see you in the redline........ I'll probably be the one getting one shotted by a Kaalakoita Bolt Pistol........ again.
forget that noise, join a CFW channel, try Caldari united, One universe//one war, state task force. or just pm me in game and i'll run a few battles

Cute story, but it's not true accurate. People jumped over to STF after got KH got voicebombed and whoever was modding it closed it. Kirjuun Saaja channel was opened the same day that Kirjuun Heiian got voice bombed, once I actually found out what had happened and was able to find someone willing to moderate it, it was really a coinflip as to which channel would be used more often. Usage ended up going to STF simply because more people were voiced there usually and because I wasn't around to pull people into whatever channel when things did happen. Convenience and Coincidence were the biggest deciders. Starlight has always been awesome with moderation too, especially when it comes to giving other people to mod the channel he created. Which is good because when we were forced to kick your butt out simply because you're a poor drunk, you tried the same stuff that shut Kirjuun Heiian down due to it being infrequently modded... I also recall you spending something like two or three hours essentially shouting into the mic in saaja trying to get starlights attention. As far as the corp goes, I couldn't care about membership, I've never actively recruited for it and I'm not really interested in trying to turn it into anything. I've never really been interested in PC so why not be in my own corp if it makes me happy? It's a label for other people that are interested in Cal FW, particularly eve side where they don't have to deal with militia chat channels.
lol this over you claiming credit for the cal winning factional? ok tell everyone how you scream at kids and told me to 'go and punch my girlfriend in the face' you want to start throwing crap around then go a head. funny that a poor drunk am i? ok Mina but im richer than you'll ever be as im not a sad pathetic man who has to try and bully younger people to make myself fell better. your a bully Mina, no other two ways about it. you had nothing to do with were the state is now but keep dreaming either kid

I remember the 'event', but not the person it was really that trivial of an affair, you seem to be the only person that still cares about it. Disagreements are fairly normal and most people move past them with little incident once they happen except for you apparently, but hey it's not hypocritical for you to shout down half of state task force when you're drunk for even less good reasons. Bullying is slightly more involved than a single event. I'd think you'd know this as you created alts to impersonate several people from STF when you got banned from there, I'm pretty sure that constitutes 'bullying'. At the very least its a terms of use violation that you probably should have been banned for. Also, when did I ever tell you to go punch your girlfriend in the face? I find it amusing for you to try and talk about how 'emotionally enriched' you are and how much of a moral high ground you sit upon... all while you try to drag other people through the mud and downplay things that they've done. Might want to note that I've never claimed sole credit for what's been done. Might want to slow down on the alcohol scotty, it's clearly affecting your memory of things.
so basically you're a liar and you're talking crap, well we already know all this kid. emotionally enriched? never said that ever. i find it amusing that talking absolute crap gets you off. you did say what you said and you know it. yes i did get drunk but guess what when you're an adult you'll see that sometimes people who have had a beer will say things, just because at the time he's had a beer that doesn't mean he's wrong which i wasn't, i may have gone overboard but in the end it was months ago and you seem to be the only one bringing it up, yes you have tried to make out that you somehow made the state prevail over the gal which is bs. its all i ever see coming from you. sad really
look either way trying to constantly attack me on the forums isnt going to end badly for me, it just shows me that i somehow affected you and you just can't get over it, shame lol. do yourself a favour and grow up Mina, you're only making yourself upset
dont worry, you'll be a man soon boy
